Thomas Babington Macaulay, 1st Baron Macaulay (October 25, 1800 - December 28, 1859), British historian and politician, authentic, original unsigned 1800s Carte-de-Visite (CDV) photograph. Baron Macaulay served as the Secretary at War as well as the Paymaster-General. This photograph measures 9.7cm x 6.1cm across and is in nice condition with slight marking. The photograph was produced by Maull & Polybank of London who ceased operating under this name in 1865, the photograph dates from approx 1860.
